09:00Butrint National Park
Arrive early, before the heat and the crowds. A shaded forest trail leads past the Greek theatre, Roman baths, the 6th-century baptistery, the Great Basilica and the Lion Gate, up to the castle on the acropolis, which houses the site museum and overlooks the Vivari Channel. A UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1992.
